For me as a wedding photojournalist it has been a challenging job as we have followed the couples for three days; very hard but very funny at the same time.”
The first day they organised their rehearsal dinner on the terrace of the “ All’ Oro” restaurant, in the very center of the city with the beautiful landscape of Rome as a background.”
It was an informal event to welcome guests coming both from Russia and from USA, that became a funny wedding rehearsal party with delicious food made by the Michelin starred chef Riccardo di Giacinto, with lots of italian wine, music and dances.”
The second day, the day of the wedding, I started taking pictures of the preparation of the bride at Casa Manni, while my second photographer was making pictures during the preparation of the groom to be.”

The wedding ceremony had been organised in the orthodox church of San Teodoro, a 6th century church located on an ancient road between the Roman Forum and Forum Boarium, along the north-western foot of the Palatine Hill.

After the ceremony, some pictures outside the church with family and friends and then we moved with the wedding couple to some of the most beautiful corners of the city such as San Pietro, Castel Sant’ Angelo, Colosseo and piazza di Spagna.”

After the pictures tour we reached the wedding party at the gorgeous Casina Valadier over Piazza del Popolo, for the elegant wedding reception.”

The last day we moved early to a completely different setting for the “ Arrivederci Roma” lunch that they organised by the sea in one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, the stunning Posta Vecchia where we ended our job, tired but happy.”
